Shikhar Dhawan took a spectacular catch at the fine-leg position, dismissing England captain Eoin Morgan, in the second Twenty20 International (T20I) game that took place at Sophia Gardens, in Cardiff, on Friday. The stunning catch can be easily said to be one of the best catches in cricket history!

India might have lost the 2nd T20I against England, on Friday; however, Morgan’s dismissal was one the most captivating moments in the match. All seemed lost for the Indian team, and it was just them came this blinder of a catch.

Hardik Pandya bowled a short-delivery to which Morgan pulled it straight to Shikhar Dhawan, stationed at fine-leg. The Indian opener had to time the jump correctly, ensure that the ball doesn’t slip out of his hands, and the landing is just as safe – Dhawan did it all with finesse!

England needed 57 runs off 42 balls at the moment, and the tide was in their favour. India needed a moment like this to infuse some life in the match. It was Shikhar Dhawan who did his part well; however, the Indian team failed to capitalise on this opening, as Suresh Raina missed a half run-out chance on the very next ball.
