We are sure, Dwayne Bravo’s heart must be drumming his throat as SRH just needed 19 off the last over and Rashid Khan had already hammered a six and four. SRH was close but the score was not enough for leading the team to victory. The absence of Shikhar Dhawan hurt them the most. The team kept struggling then but Kane Williamson played the captain knock of 84 runs of 51 balls. Shakib Al Hasan hit 24 and made way to the pavilion. Yusuf Pathan set fireworks with tall sixes and fours. At one point in time when Yusuf was around, it almost looked as if his gusty effort garner a victory from the jaw of defeat but alas, he got out on 45. His innings comprised four sixes and one four. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings too struggled during the power play but later Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu both set fireworks and by outing up a partnership of 112 runs. Suresh Raina scored 54 runs off 43 balls which once again crowned him as the highest scorer of the IPL with 4655 runs pushing Virat Kohli to Number 2. Rayadu’s knock of 79 runs off 37 balls, earned him the Man of the Match title.

Dhoni contributed to the total by scoring a quick 25 off 12 balls. The best part about Chennai was that they kept more wickets in hand.  With this, team Chennai Super Kings rules the IPL 2018 Point Table. Whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad is pushed to number 4.
