Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli was joined by two former cricket legends in Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar following India’s 36-run victory over reigning champions Australia at the Oval cricket ground on Sunday. Kohli later captioned the post as “Some pictures indeed are special” with two smileys attached to it. The 30-year-old was seen enjoying in the company of two former legends, who were also once his national teammates. Meanwhile, Sachin and Sehwag were opening partners and shared numerous partnerships between themselves. Kohli also has some memorable partnerships with both of his senior teammates at the World Cups. Among those, his record partnership with Sehwag against Bangladesh in the 2011 World Cup opening match is quite memorable.

The Indian skipper’s foundation – Virat Kohli Foundation – also commented Legends on the post referring to the gathering of Kohli, Sehwag and Tendulkar at The Oval. With India beating Australia by 36 runs in their second World Cup 2019 match, all three of them looks happy and might have been discussing India’s plans and the path ahead into the tournament.

Sehwag is present in England as a commentator for Hindi, while Sachin made a remarkable debut as a commentator in the opening match between England and South Africa in World Cup 2019. India next face table-toppers New Zealand on June 13 at Trent Bridge. Both the sides are unbeaten so far in the competition but New Zealand has played a match more.
