The Indian team registered a comprehensive victory against the hosts, Ireland, in the first Twenty20 International (T20I), on Wednesday. The Virat Kohli-led side will be itching to end the Ireland-leg of the UK tour on a positive note, with a win on Friday too. The first match saw the Indian captain bat at number six while batting first. The decision to come down the order only reiterated his previous stand of the team management surprising the opposition with an altered line-up and a number of changes.
The Indian team were in a selection dilemma in the first match, as they rested in-form KL Rahul and Dinesh Karthik on the bench. However, the practise session of the Indian team gave a slight hint that both the players will be drafted in the playing XI; but on whose spot, it is not confirmed.

Dinesh Karthik, Lokesh Rahul, and MS Dhoni are seen sweating it out during the practise session at The Village, in Dublin. If the video is any indication of the selection of playing XI, then one can say that both the in-form players would be given a chance ahead of India’s Tour of England.
Fast bowler Umesh Yadav, and Siddharth Kaul might be given an opportunity too. The question is, will captain Kohli make so many changes in the playing XI? However, in a pre-series conference, he had said that they will be making a lot of changes in the team composition.
