Rex Rajkumar Singh of Manipur picked up all the 10 wickets in an innings, against Arunachal Pradesh, in a U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy match, on Wednesday. The feat pulled us back to the moment when Anil Kumble took 10 wickets in a Test match against Pakistan. The 18-year-old bowler showed shades of Irfan Pathan with his fiery left-arm swinging bowling, which made the Arunachal side look nothing but hapless.

The 18-year-old bowler’s breathtaking performance assisted his team beat Arunachal Pradesh in the 4-day encounter, comprehensively. Arunachal began with a slender lead of 16 runs in their second innings, after they had scored 138 runs in their first innings, in reply to Manipur’s 122 in their first innings.

Not only did he took 10 wickets, but what was even more surprising that he gave away just 11 runs. The emphatic display of bowling has taken the social media by storm with people comparing him to the likes of Irfan Pathan, Wasim Akram and what not!

In their second innings, Arunachal was bundled out for 36 runs only. Despite being ahead by 16 runs in the low-scoring match, they could not capitalise on the minuscule lead. It was a dream spell by the left-arm bowler, which saw the Arunachal Pradesh left in tatters!
