London Spirit were building a formidable total thanks to Pretorius, who reached a half-century off 28 balls with five fours and three sixes. The breakthrough arrived when leg-spinner Nathan Sowter flighted an overpitched delivery, prompting Pretorius to loft the ball toward the deep boundary.
Positioned on the rope, Jacks sprinted across, leaped laterally, and held onto a diving, full-stretch catch just inches inside the boundary line. Video footage of the fielding display went viral across social media platforms following the match Jos Buttler Backs India's Vaibhav Sooryavanshi To Break His Most T20 Runs Record (Watch Video).

Middle-order contributions from Sam Curran (33 off 23 balls) and an explosive cameo from Sikandar Raza (32 off 16 balls featuring four sixes) ensured MI London reached 164 for 6 with six balls to spare.
