Yesterday, Belgium beat Harry Kane led side England by 1-0. It was former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj who scored a goal for the side against the three lions. The moment the goal was scored, the elated Belgium side began celebrating. Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi too was keen to join the jubilations like rest of his teammates, but instead grabbed headlines for his epic goal celebrations.

After the match, while addressing the press, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez said that the team was ready to face Japan in the pre-quarters of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Roberto said, “You cannot plan the ideal scenario, you’ve seen big nations already eliminated. We need to look at ourselves, we are a stronger group than we were before the game. We’re facing Japan, we’ve got to be ready for it.” Meanwhile, England will face Colombia on Tuesday and Gareth Southgate said that he will have to take some tough calls. “Everybody is in the frame to play in the next game and it was important these payers were given time on the pitch to press their case. Anybody that plays against Colombia will know they are match ready. We are still a work in progress but that’s not a bad thing at this stage,” said Southgate to the press.
