The first half summed up Bengaluru’s season so far, they dominated the half and came up with wave after wave of attacks but were again unable to break down a resolute Jamshedpur defence. The home side had goalkeeper Subrata Paul to thank, who was at his absolute best. He made a great number of saves, the best one was against Harmanjot Khabra when the defender tried to flick the ball from six yards but Subrata stretched out a strong hand and kept the ball out. The visitors had a lot of chances to open the scoring but were not able to get the ball past Subrata Paul. Bengaluru were forced into an early substitution due to an injury to defender Albert Serran.
