When it comes to fulfilling the wishes of kids, most of these sportsmen make sure to not disappoint them. Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is no different. The Spanish goal-keeper sent his own pair of gloves to a nine-year-old Kai Evitt's from Belfast. The nine-year-old was born with a condition called ectrodactyly - meaning he is missing some fingers and toes. The Spanish footballer also did not shy away from fulfilling his wish. De Gea not only sent his own pair of gloves to the kid but also autographed them with the message, “To Kai, Best Wishes David de Gea.” Recently, a glove brand made custom made gloved for the kid and that is when Kai expressed his desire to get a pair of gloves from the Manchester United star. After receiving a pair of gloves from De Gea, Kai’s mother posted a message on social media.

The Manchester United star also responded to the tweet. Check out the tweet below:

Kai’s mother Deborah spoke to the BBC after her son received the gift from the football star and said that he was overwhelmed with the gift. "At first I think Kai just thought they were a new pair of gloves and he was really excited He was beyond excited, he was completely overwhelmed. He will never forget this," she told BBC News NI.
