After having a disastrous outing at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and finishing at the bottom of the table, team Egypt went back home. Last night, many fans gathered outside Mohamed Salah’s house to take pictures with the football star at the residential area close to Fifth Settlement. Salah who had gone to the mosque was followed by his fans to his home.

The Liverpool star also did not disappoint his fans and accepted the gifts and flowers offered by them. But the crowd interrupted the flow of traffic and thus the police had to interfere. Check out the video below.

The 26-year-old has not had enough rest ever since his return. On Wednesday, Salah was spotted at his favourite restaurant the The Smokery. Even there the fans hounded him for pictures. The Egyptian forward very graciously clicked selfies and signed autographs for them. The restaurant posted the pictures of Salah on their Facebook page. The pictures were captioned, “Welcome back from Russia! It was great to have you back again at The Smokery. You are still, and will always be the pride of Egypt and the Arab World! You will always have our full support! @mosalah #MoSalah #Egypt #FifaWorldCup #Russia2018 #WorldCup #LiverPool #TheSmokery #Cairo #TopRestaurants @ The Smokery Egypt.”

A few days ago we told you that Salah was given the honorary citizenship of Chechnyan. Ramzan Kadyrov who offered him the citizenship wrote on Telegram, “Mohamed Salah is an honorary citizen of the Chechen Republic. Yes, that's right! Tonight I signed a decree conferring this high award on the great footballer and member of the Egypt and Liverpool teams.”
