Juanan scored the only goal before Gurpreet Singh Sandhu stood tall between the posts as Bengaluru FC beat Odisha 1-0 to pip ATK into the top of the Indian Super League 2019-20 points table. Gurpreet denied Odisha as many as five times pulling out some terrific saves, right from when Nandhakumar nearly scored in the 14th minute, to hand Bengaluru FC their third victory in six ISL 2019-20 matches. His saves, after Juanan had steamed from defence to put Bengaluru ahead in the 37th minute, also brought the defending ISL champions’ first win after the last-gasp draw against Hyderabad in their previous match. The 0-1 defeat meant Odisha have now gone winless in their last four matches, three of which ended in draws. Odisha FC Vs Bengaluru FC - Live Football Score.

Josep Gombau’s side after three successive draws – two goalless – and four unbeaten games started well against the title-holders. Aridane Santana, who had already scored four times in five matches including a double in 4-2 win against Mumbai City, nearly netted in the very first minute when Vinit Rai almost found him clear inside the Bengaluru box. 11 minutes later, however, Rai found Nandhakumar after Udanta Singh failed to hold on to a pass. The young wide man’s shot on goal was paired out by Gurpreet, who produced the first of his many saves.
Bengaluru’s first real opportunity in the match came in the 22nd minute when Udanta Singh found Sunil Chhetri after a quick inter-play with Harmanjot Khabra. But Chhetri’s first-time shot was blocked Diawandou Diagne. The visiting team’s pressure eventually paid off in the 37th minute when Erik Paartalu found Juanan, who picked the far post and put Bengaluru ahead.
