A tragic helicopter accident jolted English Premier League football fans on Saturday. The chopper belonging to Leicester City Football Club (LCFC) owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed near the football stadium in the central UK city an hour after Leicester City vs West Ham United football game. While there is still no confirmation or clarity on whether Vichai was on board the helicopter when it crashed, but fans are fearing the worst. One cannot blame them for thinking Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha to be dead as the helicopter crash video and pictures look horrific. The crash took place hours after Leicester drew 1-1 with West Ham in a Premier League match at the King Power Stadium. According to Sky Sports reports, the helicopter took off from the pitch between 8.30pm-8.45pm local time (1 am-1:15 am IST) but developed problems shortly afterwards with its tail rotor and crashed in a nearby car park. What the media reports and police is not confirming is whether the Thai billionaire was present in the chopper at the time of the accident. However, LCFC followers are sure of his presence as Vichai, the ardent sports lover to frequently visit the stadium to catch live action.

As you can see from the video and was also broadcast by Sky Sports broadcast, the helicopter is completely engulfed in flames. From the early reports, it is believed that it took more than 20 minutes to extinguish the fire. Such was the impact of the crash.
