For a while now, Neymar Jr has been at the receiving end by the fans as they have booed the football star for a while now. The Ligue 1 2019 game between PSG and Nantes was no different as the fans booed Neymar once again. No sooner the name was announced, fans raised their vocal cords to boo the football star. During the pre-match build-up, a few fans expressed their displeasure about the Brazilian football wanting to go back to Barcelona once again. In fact, it was said that even Lionel Messi was very keen on having him on board again. In fact, the six-time Ballon d’Or winner was quite angry with Barcelona for buying Antoine Griezmann earlier this year especially with the fact that Neymar was available in the pool.

Talking about the game, PSG who hosted the contest, won the game 2-0. It was Kylian Mbappe who scored the first goal of the match at the 52nd minute of the game. Neymar then converted a penalty into a goal at the 85th minute of the game. Nantes could not find the net until the final whistle and lost the game. Needless to say that the game was quite a one-sided affair.
