The situation involving Brazilian superstar Neymar at French side Paris Saint-Germain FC (PSG) is subject to a lot of speculation these days. After a world-record move from Barcelona to PSG, Neymar has never really settled at the French capital. Injuries have impacted his form, which has been a real show stopper for the former Brazil skipper. There were reports he made this move to PSG in haste as he wanted to get away from the shadows of Lionel Messi. Soon, he realized he was meant to play for the top clubs and sent SOS to Real Madrid and a host of clubs. Real Madrid now are in an advanced stage of signing him, which could be brilliant for both parties. Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr Take on Each Other in the Boxing Ring (Watch Video).

Los Blancos have signed several figures in the transfer window which has bolstered their squad ahead of the 2019/20 campaign. Despite these arrivals, they were found wanting in the pre-season games. The reason for it is they have not really replaced their record goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo since his move to Juventus. A world-class player like Eden Hazard is a creator of sorts and not someone who will score goals every game. This is where Neymar assumes greater significance as he is known for his prolific scoring. Under Zinedine Zidane, he will likely be deployed up top with Hazard out wide. He is also adept at switching roles and can chip in with an assist or two in games, which is quality coaches love.  PSG Fans Display Banners Asking Neymar to Leave.

Neymar’s arrival will likely change Madrid’s system to a 4-1-2-1-2 with the Brazilian slotting behind Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard. This will enable Neymar to push up whenever Hazard or Benzema move wide. His continuous movement inside the opponent box gives him a greater chance to be at the end of crosses and chip in with goals. Zinedine Zidane will also want the PSG man to receive the ball deep in his half to make those powerful bursts if things are not going well. At this stage, all these are just probabilities and depends on how well PSG and Real Madrid negotiate. Luka Modric will definitely be part of any deal revolving Neymar as the Spanish side cannot afford so much cash upfront.

Barcelona are currently out of the race for the signing of Neymar, and the PSG fans want Neymar out of the side. There is a strong chance of a deal happening between the French champions and Real Madrid, which makes the latter one of the strongest outfits in Europe.
