Zinedine Zidane shocked the world with his decision to quit from Real Madrid earlier today after the club won the Champions League Title for the third time on Saturday. The football legend in said that after three years it was a time to change. The attacking midfielder addressed the press earlier today.

The news of exit sent a wave of shock not only amongst the fans but also the players. Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo and captain Sergio Ramos paid tributes to Zizou. He took to social media to share the picture of himself with the ex-boss of Real Madrid. He captioned the picture, “I am so proud to have been your player. Mister, thank  you so much.”

Sergio Ramos too shared a picture with Zizou on social media. He captioned the picture, “As a player and coach you decided to say goodbye at the top. Thank you for two and a half incredible years. Your legacy will never be erased, one of the most successful chapters in the history of our beloved @realmadrid.”

"I've taken the decision to not continue next year as Real Madrid's coach. I think that this team needs to keep on winning and it needs a change for that. After three years, it needs a different work methodology," he added. "I've made this decision because I love this club very much,” Zidane said at the press conference. As of now, Zidane is planning to take a break and is not looking out for a club.
