The Indian football drew the final league stage match against Syria at the Intercontinental Cup 2019 at the EKA Stadium in Ahmedabad. Sunil Chhetri and men have had a shaky start at the tournament as they lost to Tajikstan by 4-2. The Men in Blue once again faced a defeat during the match against North Korea as they lost by 5-2. With no wins in their kitty, India stands at the bottom of the Intercontinental Cup 2019 table. The team has only one point in their kitty. Tajikistan leads the table with six points, winning a couple of games out of three.
