Sunil Chhetri and men lost the first game of the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifier against Oman by 2-1 which was held in Assam. Despite the fact that the blue Tigers dominated the game the first half, a couple of late goals and the visitors walked away with a win. However, this time Sunil Chhetri and men were travelling to Doha for their second game but right before the match, the Indian football captain got injured which was a huge setback for the team.
