Daniel Zsori was making his debut for Debrecen in a game against Ferencvaros in the Hungarian league with his side trailing 1-0 and ten minutes to go. Teammate Daniel Tozser then equalised for Debrecen making the score read 1-1. In the dying moments of the game, an Adam Bodi cross was met by a spectacular overhead kick by the then 18-year old Daniel Zsori to win the game for his club. It was the only time he ever scored for Debrecen and one that none of his former teammates and fans will ever forget. Zsori later confessed he wanted to copy his idol Cristiano Ronaldo’s strike against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League and that he was lucky it came off so well.
