Roger Federer shared an emotional post on Tuesday after Team Europe’s victory in Laver Cup 2019. The Swiss tennis star shared a heartwarming message on Twitter while posting a photo of his Laver Cup 2019 teammates. Team Europe defeated Team World in the tennis tournament 13-11. The 20-time grand slam tennis champion tweeted, “It was a dream of mine to play the Laver Cup in Switzerland. The fans, the city, and the atmosphere were electric. Federer also mentioned that he is too excited for next year’s Laver Cup tournament. “Shootout to Team World and I am so excited for Boston 2020!#lavercup”. Federer managed a brilliant comeback for his team after they were reeling down 7-11 in total points against Team World. Federer defeated John Isner in straight sets to bring the tournament to a decider match. Later, Alexander Zverev defeated Milos Raonic in the ultimate men's singles clash to bag victory for Team Europe. Team Europe led the final group points 13-11 against Team World to clinch Laver Cup 2019 trophy.
