Amazon, a popular e-commerce giant kicked-off Prime Day Sale on Monday which is exclusive to Amazon Prime users only. As the most prominent annual sale went live, the shoppers in the US and other parts of the world struggled to access the website.

As per the report from BBC, many users reported that the website crashed soon after the two-day sale commenced on Monday. These particular issues are centred on the US users, but the same has been reported on other continents as well. Most of the outages were reported were centred to the US according to DownDetector.com that tracks outages. It was also reported in Europe, Africa, South America, Asia and Russia.

Several users also reported issues with Amazon's prime video streaming as they experienced the problem with its service and its virtual assistant - Alexa.

BBC further reported that the users experience these problems not only on the desktop version of the site but also on the mobile app. Huawei to Unveil Nova 3 & Nova 3i Smartphones at Amazon India on July 26.

Some users also reported that they saw 'dogs of Amazon' on the error page and were not able to enter the website. However, some said that they failed to open specific product pages.

Amazon prime day sale is one of the biggest shopping days that the e-commerce giant which was launched in the year 2015. Moreover, the 36-hour sale period was estimated to break records this year as the company was speculated to make at least $3.4 billion in sales.
