As per the report from Verge, Apple Inc - a Cupertino based technology company will be unveiling new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (RED Edition) smartphones today. Previously, the company introduced RED Edition of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus last year in March in collaboration with RED for raising awareness against HIV AIDS in Africa. RED is an organization which collaborates with brands for raising awareness and funds for eradicating HIV/AIDS in the Africa. The new RED coloured iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus which will be introduced under company’s partnership with RED, an advocacy group dedicated to combating HIV/AIDS in the African countries. As per the report from MacRumors, it is believed that details of the upcoming Limited edition RED Edition iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were spotted in an internal Virgin Mobile memo as the company has distributed the models to be listed on April 9.

The new models are reportedly to be available as pre-orders initially, the availability details are expected to be revealed during the conference later today. However, the memo does not specify any details about the recently launched iPhone X RED Edition, but the company could introduce all the three models in order to continue its support to RED this year. Apple is one of the long standing partner company for RED which has helped the company raise more than $160 million through its various products such as iPod, iPad, iPhone 7 and others. These products has received the RED colour treatment for supporting RED brand and contributing some part of its sales for the good cause.
