Huawei has officially announced the launch of its P50 Pocket foldable smartphone on December 23. The brand confirmed the launch date through its official Twitter account as well as dropped the first teaser of the upcoming foldable device. Going by the teaser, Huawei will offer its foldable smartphone in two colours. Huawei will officially reveal the handset on the above-mentioned date at 8:30 am CET (1:00 pm IST). The foldable phone is tipped to get a Kirin 9000 SoC in the Chinese market, dubbed Huawei Mate V, which means it could be a 4G phone. According to XDA Developers, the global variant could be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood.

If previous reports are to be believed, it was tipped that Huawei's upcoming foldable phone will have a 6.7-inch screen. It could also feature a vertical folding design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. Prices, availability and specifications of the Huawei P50 Pocket will be announced during the launch.
