Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max featuring the A20 Pro chip, colour-matched design, longer battery life and upgraded cameras. Apple has officially launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its Surprise and Shine event on 9 September 2026. The new flagships build on the previous generation with refined design, stronger performance and improved everyday capabilities.
The devices feature colour-matched aluminium frames and back glass for a more uniform look. They come in four finishes: black, silver, glacier and burgundy. The iPhone 18 Pro is powered by the A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process with a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU and 12GB of RAM. It runs iOS 27 and offers storage options from 256GB up to 2TB. The 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display supports 120Hz refresh rates. The rear camera system includes a 48MP main sensor with variable aperture, a 48MP ultrawide and a 48MP telephoto lens, delivering improved low-light performance and faster Night mode captures. Battery life reaches new highs, with the Pro Max model offering up to 30 hours of use. iPhone 18 Pro Price in India
In the US the iPhone 18 Pro starts at USD 1,199 while the iPhone 18 Pro Max begins at USD 1,299. Indian pricing has not been confirmed by Apple at the time of writing, though early conversions and market estimates place the base iPhone 18 Pro around INR 1,14,000 and the Pro Max higher. Pre-orders are expected to begin shortly, with devices available from 18 September 2026.
