After rolling out three new handsets in the Indian market earlier this year, HMD Global - a Finnish company licensed to retail Nokia branded devices, has now launched 3 new smartphones at an event in Moscow, Russia. All the three new smartphones are introduced to the successors to previous year's Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 devices which were first announced at last year's MWC. Moreover, Nokia 6.1 was introduced as a successor to Nokia 6 at this year's MWC. Unveiling new set of smartphone devices in Russia, the company plans to introduce the devices from July onwards. All the devices from the HMD Global will be introduced in the market as a budget oriented devices wherein Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 smartphones gets full screen displays and updated processor. Nokia 5.1 smartphone will be a premium offering from the Nokia brand which will sport an aluminum uni-body design carved from a single 6000-series anodized aluminum featuring a satin finish. The smartphone now comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and aspect ratio of 18:9. The new display offered on the smartphone is not only larger but also taller than the predecessor. It comes powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P18 CPU coupled with 2GB or 3GB of RAM with storage capacity of up to 32GB that can be expanded up to 256GB via SD card slot. For photography, the smartphone is equipped with an updated 16MP primary camera with phase detection auto focus & dual-LED flash. It also gets an 8MP shooter upfront for selfies and video calling. Talking about the Nokia 3.1, the smartphone features anodized aluminum chassis with a polycarbonate back likewise seen on its predecessor. It gets a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1440 x 720 pixels of a resolution. Powering the new Nokia 3.1 is a MediaTek 6750 chipset which comes with up to 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of storage. Coming to the camera department, the smartphone now features a 13MP primary shooter while the selfie snapper employs 8MP sensor. The smartphone will be offered in 3 colour - blue copper, black chrome and white iron shades. The base 2GB variant is priced at €139 (approximately Rs.  10,900) while the 3GB variant gets a price tag of €169 (around Rs. 13,300). On the other hand, the new Nokia 2.1 is an entry level smartphone which is priced at cost €99 (around Rs 7,800) that will go on sale in July. Touted as a battery centric smartphone, the device comes with a polycarbonate rear and a bigger 5.5-inch display panel with 720p resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone bags a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with 1GB RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. The smartphone is also equipped with 8MP autofocus camera at the rear along with a 5MP selfie camera upfront. Notable features of the new Nokia 2.1 are 4,000mAh battery, Android Oreo (Go edition), 3 colour options and much more.
