HMD Global-owned Nokia is all set to launch its smartphones at an event held in New Delhi. The event will be kickstarted by 12:10 pm today and will be live streamed on their official YouTube page. Interested users can set their reminder for the video now. Though the smartphone company has not yet revealed which phone that they will be unveiling at the event, we can speculate that Nokia 6.1 Plus and Nokia 9 smartphones could be the ones revealed today at the launch event. The specifications of Nokia 6.1 Plus are similar to those of Nokia X6 smartphones released in China. The phone sports a 5.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2280 X 1080 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage and supports external storage up to 400GB via hybrid SIM slot. The device is equipped with a dual rear camera setup of 16MP + 5MP sensors; and at the front, it incorporates a 16MP selfie shooter. Powered by Android One, the device runs on Android Oreo 8.1 OS and features a 3,060mAh battery, to keep the phone ticking. Nokia 9 Flagship Smartphone Likely to Be Launched in India Tomorrow
The other rumoured device Nokia 9 smartphone is expected to be the company’s flagship device. It sports a 6.01-inch QHD AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Also, the device could be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The device is expected to feature a 3,900 mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. As for the optics, the phone is expected to feature a triple camera setup of 41MP + 20MP + 9.7MP sensors at the rear. Whereas, front-facing camera on this device could incorporate a 21MP sensor.
As for prices are concerned, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is expected to be around Rs 20,000. The flagship Nokia 9 smartphone could be priced around Rs 60,000.
