HMD Global, a Finnish company licensed to sell Nokia branded phones globally is all set to launch at least 3 new smartphones in the Indian market today. The smartphone maker might launch the new Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, and Nokia 6 (2018) today at a scheduled launch event in Delhi. While the Nokia 7 Plus and the new Nokia 6 (2018 version) are successors to Nokia 7 and Nokia 6 respectively, the Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone will be company's flagship device. Nokia will also live stream the launch event via its official Facebook page. As a reminder, Nokia launched 5 smartphones at MWC event in February which included Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1, and Nokia 8110 4G. However, the Nokia 1 entry-level Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone was introduced in the market last month itself at an attractive price point of Rs 5,499. As far as the launch of other smartphones are concerned, the company has been teasing the arrival for a while now.

Talking about company's flagship model, the new Nokia 8 Sirocco will feature top of the line specifications featuring dual rear camera with Zeiss optics with 12MP and 13MP sensors. It will come powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset in combination with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Nokia 7 Plus will be upgraded with better specifications as compared to its predecessor. It will carry Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. Likewise the flagship model, the new Nokia 7 Plus will also carry the same shooter for better photography.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the India prices for the smartphones will be announced today. However, the new Nokia 8 Sirocco carries a price tag of 749 Euros (Rs. 59,754) while Nokia 7 Plus is priced around 399 Euros (Rs. 31,832) in the European market.

Coming to Nokia 6 (2018), the smartphone will be basically a revamped version of Nokia 6 which was launched in the Chinese market earlier this year. It comes powered by a Snapdragon 830 SoC processor coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM and storage options of 32GB or 64GB. For photography, the smartphone will feature 16-megapixel rear shooter along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. As the newer version of the smartphone is all set to be launched in the market, the current version recently saw a price dip in the domestic market. The new 2018 Nokia 6 is expected to carry a price tag of Rs. 25,000. Watch the Live Streaming here.
