Oppo Mobile India will be expanding its product portfolio by launching a new smartphone - Oppo K3 in the country. The upcoming smartphone will be sold exclusively via Amazon India and a dedicated page is already live on the e-commerce site, wherein the specifications and features of the handsets are listed. Moreover, the prices for the smartphone will be revealed tonight, however, the company hasn't given any specific timeline. The forthcoming Oppo K3 smartphone will carry a full-screen notchless display giving a bezel-less experience. At the front, we could also be seeing a 16MP pop-up selfie camera with f/1.7 aperture. The handset will sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 2340X1080p resolution. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the display will also carry an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Under the hood, there will be a Snapdragon 710 SoC from Qualcomm.
Coming to the camera department, the Oppo K3 hanset will sport a dual camera setup at the back wherein the primary sensor will be a 16MP lens with f/1.7 aperture along with a 2MP depth sensor. The connectivity options will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE and USB Type-C port. The company also claims that the phone will be powered by a 3,765mAh battery with 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. Additionally, the smartphone will also be equipped with face unlock and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
As far as the prices are concerned, the company is likely to price the handset from Rs 17,000 for the Indian market that will be in-line the prices for the China market. The company is offering three variants of the smartphone for the China market, however, the company is already teasing the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage model. So, we speculate that the handset could be priced somewhere in between Rs 17,000 to Rs 19,000.
