Compared to its competitors, the Redmi Note 5 Pro (especially the 4GB and 6GB variant) offers more value for money and packs more feature than any phone in not only the same price range but also has features almost equal to premium phones except the display. The Huawei HONOR 9 LITE is actually one of the few phones in budget segments to have a good camera. Honor 9 Lite also comes with Huawei’s quad-camera (four cameras) and looks interesting. Xiaomi has already announced Note 5 Pro as a ‘camera beast’ phone and looks to take away this advantage from Honor 9 phone. What works for Xiaomi is also the fact that it already has a dedicated and loyal customer base which it has earned through providing high-end features in budget segment phones. The battery of Note 5 Pro like its predecessors is top-notch and can last for entire day on full charge.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro seems set to extend the dominance that Note 4 phones created for MI in India. However, one has to ask the question that is it worth the update from Note 4, MI A1 and even Note 5 that will go for sale tomorrow.
