Reliance Jio is finally ready to initiate the sale of its new feature smartphone on August 15. The Jio Phone 2, designed to have smartphone features fused into a feature phone comes at a price tag of Rs 2,999. Last month at its 41st Annual General Meet (AGM), the Indian telecom company had introduced the Jio Phone 2 along with GigaFiber services, which is also scheduled to go live for registration on August 15. Interested users can order their new feature-smart phone from the My Jio app and Jio.com. Reliance Jio GigaFiber Registration Starts From August 15.

Jio also features the Monsoon Hungama Offer, where users can exchange their existing feature phone for the Jio Phone at just Rs 501. The company also offers Jio Phone recharge plan for Rs 594. With this plan, users can get unlimited voice call and data for six months. Coming to the specifications, Jio Phone comes with 2.4-inch QVGA display. Powering the device the is the KAI OS paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage, expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone also features a 2,000 mAh battery. As for the camera, the phone sports a 2MP rear camera sensor and at the front it has a VGA camera sensor. On the connectivity side, the phone includes VoLTE, VoWiFi, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth and FM radio. The device also supports applications like WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps.
