Samsung, a South-Korean tech giant will be revealing the highly awaited Galaxy M-Series smartphones in India today. Targeted to the young Millenials, Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 will be the foremost devices from Samsung to pack a notched display. The company also claims that the smartphones are equipped with bigger batteries, powerful cameras and efficient processors. The smartphones will be unveiled today at 6 PM IST on Amazon India as well as Samsung's own online store. Moreover, the phones will be retailed in the Indian market exclusively via Amazon.in. Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 smartphones will go on sale on February 5, 2019. Ahead of their launch, there have been several leaks about the device concerning prices, specifications and features.
On the specification front, the Samsung Galaxy M10 phone will sport a 6.2-inch HD+ display with resolution of 720 X 1520 pixels. To run Android 8.1 Oreo OS, the phone will be backed by a 3400 mAh battery. Under the hood, the handset will be powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC that could be mated up to 3GB of RAM. For photography, the phone will carry dual camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. Coming to Galaxy M20, the phone is expected to come with a slightly bigger display of 6.3-inch FHD+ along with resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. Likewise Galaxy M10, the phone might also be offered in two variants, though there will be 3GB and 4GB of RAM on offer. In the camera department, the Galaxy M20 will also get a dual camera setup at the rear featuring a 13MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary snapper. The phone will be backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery with fast-charging support.
As far as the prices go, the Galaxy M10 is likely to be priced at Rs 7990 for 2GB version whereas the bigger variant with 3GB of RAM will be priced at Rs 8990, according to the reports from IANS. On the other hand, the Galaxy M20 smartphone is likely to be priced at Rs 10,990 and Rs 12,990 for 3GB and 4GB variants respectively.
