Vivo has officially commenced the global review cycle for its latest flagship, the Vivo X300 Ultra. The new model arrives as the successor to the X200 Ultra, continuing the brand's focus on high-end mobile photography and hardware endurance. Early hands-on reports indicate that while the device maintains a familiar aesthetic, it introduces significant internal upgrades, particularly regarding battery density and charging infrastructure.

The retail package for the X300 Ultra includes a colour-matching protective case and a new 100W USB-C charging brick. Refined Design and Flat-Panel Ergonomics

The Vivo X300 Ultra moves away from the subtle curves of its predecessor, opting for flat glass panels on both the front and rear. While the X200 Ultra featured a gentle edge curvature, the new model’s flat design is expected to improve drop durability and simplify the application of screen protectors.

Despite having nearly identical height and width dimensions to last year’s model, the X300 Ultra features a wider frame. Users transitioning from the previous generation may find the new handset feels slightly thicker and heavier in the hand. According to Vivo, this new sensor provides autofocus speeds twice as fast as the previous generation and enhanced optical stabilisation.

Accompanying the phone is an expanded Photography Kit, priced at EUR 599. The kit includes a detachable grip with integrated shutter and camera controls, various filter rings, and a new leather strap. A highlight of the accessory range is the introduction of two new teleconverter lenses, 400mm and 200mm, designed to provide professional-grade focal reach.

Battery Capacity and Regional Variants

One of the most significant technical achievements in the X300 Ultra is the 10% increase in battery capacity. Despite maintaining a similar chassis size, the device houses a massive 6,600mAh battery.
