The Xiaomi 18 Fold marks a significant milestone as the manufacturer's first inward-folding foldable smartphone featuring a wide aspect ratio. Furthermore, it serves as the debut mobile platform for the Xring O3 chipset, pairing the in-house system-on-chip with LPDDR6 memory developed by ChangXin Memory Technologies.
Built using a 3nm manufacturing node, the Xring O3 incorporates a 10-core all-large-core processing architecture consisting of six super-large cores and four large cores. The CPU achieves a peak clock speed of 4.35GHz and integrates a 16-core G2-Ultra NX graphics processor, which delivers an 85% boost in graphical performance while cutting power consumption by 64% compared to the previous generation.

Accompanying the foldable phone is the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max, which also adopts the high-performance Xring O3 processor.
