Xiaomi, a popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all set to launch its first Black Shark gaming smartphone by next week. Rumored to be pitted against Razer phone, the company has started sending out invites which will be launched on April 13, 2018 in Beijing. As the gaming smartphone is believed to be targeted for the developed markets, it might not feature Xiaomi branding on it. Moreover, the invite which surfaced on Weibo sporting a Mi logo confirms that Black Shark is supported by the Chinese smartphone maker. As a reminder, Xiaomi also recently announced the new Mi Mix 2S with Snapdragon 845 processor which could be seen on the gaming phone as well.
Going by the invite which has surfaced on the Chinese micro blogging site, it reveals the design of the smartphone and highlighting the brand name as well as launch date. Moreover, Xiaomi also made an undisclosed investment in the brand to produce new gaming devices which can be confirmed through the invite reports NDTV.
As far as the technical specs of the gaming smartphone is concerned, an official Black Shark account posted a teaser on Weibo indicating the availability of Qualcomm's flagship processor - 845 chipset on the forthcoming gaming phone. It is also believed that the phone could also get full HD+ display with 1080X2160 pixel resolution along with aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphones is also expected to come fitted with 8GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, Android 8.0 Oreo and much more.
Once launched, the smartphone will take on its close rival - Razer Phone, which is expected to carry a competitive price tag as Xiaomi has always emphasized on introducing low-margin devices. However, exact details, specifications, pricing about the smartphone will be announced on April 13.
