Suva, March 10: An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale rattled the Fiji Islands region on Sunday afternoon, according to the India Meteorological Department.

"Earthquake of Magnitude:6.0, Occurred on:10-03-2019, 13:42:25 IST, Lat:17.8 S & Long: 178.7 W, Depth: 563 Km, Region: Fiji Islands Region," IMD (Earthquake) tweeted.Fiji is highly susceptible to regular quakes as it sits on the Pacific 'Ring of Fire' which is one of the most seismically active regions in the world. No casualties have been reported yet and no tsunami warning has been sounded either.
