Imam Reza Shrine Fire: Firefighters Contain Blaze at Workshop
The spokesman for the Mashhad fire department said firefighters stationed at the shrine, along with operational teams from the municipal fire service, responded immediately after the fire was reported.
Emergency crews worked to isolate the fire and protect surrounding sections of the complex. Officials said the quick response helped bring the situation under control in a short period of time. There were no reports of injuries, casualties or structural damage to the main shrine buildings.
