Moscow, July 25: Indian Naval Ship (INS) Tarkash on Thursday arrived at St. Petersburg in Russia to participate in the Russian Navy Day Parade. The warship was welcomed by a Russian naval band. The Russian Navy day celebrations will take place on July 28 in St. Petersburg, Baltiysk, Sevastopol, Severomorsk and Astrakhan, and also in the Syrian port of Tartus. Indian Battle Ships Take Part in Chinese Navy's Biggest Fleet Review, Pakistan Gives It a Miss.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Main Naval Parade in St. Petersburg and Kronshtadt on July 28 will involve 43 warships, 41 aircraft and more than 4,000 personnel, reported Russian News Agency TAAS. Apart from the INS Tarkash, ships from other countries including China’s destroyer Xian are also participating in the celebrations.

Russia’s Black Sea Fleet’s warships have also lined up in a parade formation in the Sevastopol Bay. Sevastopol residents and guests will be able to view the warships including submarine Novorossiysk. Other Russian Ships which will be part of the parade include the newest Project 22350 frigates Admiral Kasatonov and Admiral Gorshkov and Project 677 submarine Kronstadt.
