He emphasized that no country should assist Iran in creating revenue-generating mechanisms that could potentially fund terrorism or nuclear development, warning that entities facilitating such actions would face US sanctions. During their discussions in Bishkek, Prime Minister Modi reiterated India's commitment to deepening its long-standing relationship with Iran. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) categorized the meeting as "fruitful," adding that the two leaders reviewed recent developments in West Asia and emphasized resolving regional tension through dialogue and diplomacy. Maritime Security and Multilateral Cooperation on the Agenda

PM Modi also underscored India's readiness to partner with Iran within multilateral frameworks such as BRICS and the SCO, extending an official invitation to President Pezeshkian for the upcoming BRICS Summit in New Delhi.
