According to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the aircraft initially reported a navigational system issue at 21:18 PST on Tuesday. The search operation has since expanded, incorporating both military and civilian assets to locate the missing plane. The Pakistan Navy has deployed the warship PNS Zulfiqar and the patrol vessel PNS Hunain to the area. Aerial support has been bolstered by a Pakistan Air Force Saab surveillance aircraft and a Navy ATR aircraft operating out of Turbat. Additionally, commercial vessels operated by the National Shipping Corporation have joined the operation to assist in scanning the waters.
