XXXTentacion Murder Footage: Chilling Video of American Rapper Being Shot Dead in His BMW Released in the Court

The American rapper, XXXTentacion, whose legal name is Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy was shot and killed in an apparent robbery outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 18. The United States Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the death of the 20-year-old. On September 27, during the court hearing for one of the men charged in the rapper’s shooting, Robert Allen, the prosecutors released a chilling surveillance video of the murder of XXXTentacion in the wheels of his BMW. The recorded video which has been played in public for the first time, showed how X struggled with his attackers before they opened fire at him. XXXTentacion, US Hip-Hop Rapper Shot Dead at Age 20 in Florida. 

At the Broward County Central Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, shared the footage, which has been captured by a local news station WPLG Local 10 and featured in a segment about the case. One of the clips inside the motorcycle dealership showed XXXTentacion talking to an attendant while two men walk to the parts department, buy masks and then leave. Another video shows, the footage of the car park where the rapper gets into his BMW. Onfroy who is sitting inside the car and prepare to leave, was blocked by a Dodge Journey 4x4.

Two masked men can be seen jumping out of the passenger side doors of the car and racing over to him. They lean into the American rapper’s window and point a handgun and rifle at him. According to Miami Herald, at first the pair was demanding the chain around his neck, but he refuses to co-operate. A struggle resulted in the 20-year-old shot dead at point-blank range. The men fled the scene with a Louis Vuitton bag which according to the police official contained 50,000 dollars (above Rs. 35 Lakhs)  in cash.

As per the court records, Robert Allen, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams and Trayvon Newsome, face charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm. XXXTentacion who sported dreadlocks and facial tattoos was a rising start, who first found his fame while uploading songs to online distribution platform, SoundCloud. During his career, the rapper drew criticism over his bad behaviour and was reportedly facing 15 criminal charges at the time of his death.
