Jaipur, May 24 (PTI) Four people were killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles in Rajasthan's Churu district today, police said.
The accident occurred in Kotwali police station area on Churu-Rajgarh state highway when a Bolero jeep on the way from Churu to Rajgarh collided head-on with a loading jeep coming from opposite direction, the police said.
Four people travelling in the Bolero, including Dharamveer Sihag (55), his wife Kanta Sihag (52), Deepesh Jat (25), and Kanhaiyalal Jat (40) died while undergoing treatment at a hospital, Assistant Sub-Inspector Bhanwar Lal said.
Bodies were kept at a mortuary for post-mortem and further investigation was on, he said.
