Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) [India], Mar 16 (ANI): Fifty-three Indian nationals evacuated from the Iranian cities of Tehran and Shiraz were moved to the Army Wellness Centre in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer on Monday upon their arrival in the state.All 53 Indians -- 52 students and a teacher -- underwent preliminary screening at the airport prior to being sent to the Army Wellness Centre.This is the fourth batch of Indians evacuated from Iran -- a Middle Eastern country which is among the worst affected countries with most cases and fatalities from coronavirus ioutside of China.The news of their return to India was tweeted by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on early Monday."Fourth batch of 53 Indians - 52 students and a teacher - has arrived from Tehran and Shiraz, #Iran. With this, a total of 389 Indians have returned to India from Iran. Thank the efforts of the team @India_in_Iran and Iranian authorities," Jaishankar tweeted.The first batch consisting of 58 nationals were brought back in a C-17 military transport aircraft on Tuesday followed by another evacuation of 44 individuals on Friday.
