New Bike's Thrill Turns Into Mourning
According to reports, YouTuber Aas Mohammad, a resident of Badheri Rajputana in Roorkee, had bought a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R superbike on Thursday. On Friday morning around 9 am, he was riding the same new bike from Dehradun towards Paonta Sahib. On the way, near Hinduwala on the Ballampur Paonta four-lane national highway, his speeding bike suddenly went out of control and crashed into the divider. The collision was so severe that Aashu's helmet flew off and landed some distance away, and he died on the spot. The accident was so gruesome that his face was left unrecognisable.
Possibility Of Collision With Unidentified Vehicle Also Suspected
Some eyewitnesses and initial reports have also suggested that an unidentified speeding vehicle rammed into him from behind, after which the driver fled the scene. Police are currently investigating this angle as well and are scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding area to trace the vehicle and its driver. Who Was YouTuber UK Rider Aashu
Aas Mohammad was widely known in the social media world by the name UK Rider. He frequently made riding videos and vlogs on expensive and sports bikes, which were popular among millions of viewers. He had a massive craze among the youth and had over 1 million followers on social media. Apart from making bike riding videos, Aashu also ran a clothing showroom. His sudden death at such a young age has left his fans and family in deep shock.
Police Scanning CCTV Footage
On receiving information about the accident, Sahaspur police reached the spot immediately and began investigation. Police have taken custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Sahaspur Kotwali in-charge Pradeep Singh Rawat said police are investigating the case thoroughly from every angle. If the collision with an unidentified vehicle is proven true, CCTV footage from cameras in the surrounding area is being examined to identify the fleeing driver. It will only become clear after the investigation is complete whether the accident happened due to the bike going out of control or due to a collision with another vehicle.
