Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 22 (ANI): Actor Mallika Sherawat has responded to the ongoing discussion around her green dress on reality show 'The Traitors Season 2' after Shalini Passi questioned whether the outfit was really from Dolce & Gabbana.

Mallika shared a video on her Instagram to address the conversation around her dress. In a video, the actor said she did not expect her outfit to become such a big topic and gave a sharp reply to those talking about it.

"Mujhe toh realise hi nahi huwa ki meri dress itna bada topic of discussion ban jayegi (I didn't even realise that my dress would become such a big topic of discussion). If my dress, my figure, my glamour is causing a little bit of jealousy, I understand. Enjoy!" she said.

Mallika also captioned the video, "Dress meri, discussion sabka (My dress and everyone is discussing it)."

Her post soon drew reactions from fans, with one user calling her a "Queen for a reason", while another wrote, "Clock it !!!!" A third user praised the actor, calling her "gorgeous and savage."

The conversation began during an episode of 'The Traitors Season 2' when Mallika said she had chosen a green Dolce dress for the day. Shalini later spoke to the other women on the show and questioned the claim.

"Just a week ago, I wore a green and gold Dolce dress, and it is not like this. I went to adjust her mic and saw the brand. She is lying. I have worn these dresses since I was 17-18. I have custom-madeones, and I can send you pictures. I have worn a Versace couture too and an Elie Saab dress. This is not it," Shalini said.

Hosted by Karan Johar, 'The Traitors' features contestants divided into two groups: Innocents and Traitors. The 'Innocents' have to identify the Traitors, while the Traitors try to remain hidden and eliminate the Innocents.

So far, the Innocents have managed to identify two Traitors, Harman Singha and Kullu, while Shahneel Gill and Krystle D'Souza remain in the game as Traitors.

This week, Parul Gulati, Ranveer Brar and Abhishek Malhan were eliminated from the show. (ANI)
