Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 17 (ANI): Actor Anjali Anand said the response to 'Dhamaal 4' still feels "unreal", adding that she has always dreamt of becoming a star and is grateful for the love she has received from audiences.

Reflecting on her career, Anjali said she never imagined things would unfold the way they have.

"I never thought my career would turn out this way. It still feels unreal, as if I'm living someone else's life. I've always believed in moving forward and not dwelling on things, so I haven't really learned how to celebrate my successes, I just keep going," she told ANI.

The actress shared that performing in songs had always been a dream and that everything came together naturally during the making of the film.

"I've long dreamed of having a song of my own and a chance to showcase my dancing. I've been preparing for this for years. I see myself becoming a major star one day; that's been my dream since childhood," she said.

Speaking about the challenges of entering the industry as a newcomer, Anjali acknowledged that earning acceptance takes time.

"When people see a new face, they often find it hard to accept. I understand their initial apprehension about a new actress, but that's okay. Once I prove myself, as I've been doing, I believe more people will come around. I'll keep proving myself," she said.

Anjali also spoke warmly about working with co-star Riteish Deshmukh, crediting their off-screen bond for their on-screen chemistry.

"I had a fantastic time with Riteish. We were just having fun, and that playfulness translated into great chemistry on screen. He never made me feel like a junior and always gave me the space to share my own thoughts and improvisations," she said.

Recalling one of her favourite moments from the shoot, Anjali revealed that both she and Riteish accidentally injured each other while filming action scenes.

"We both just said, 'I'm good,' and ended up limping home. He even texted me later that day to ask how my knee was, and I did the same. That's just the kind of person he is," she said.

Looking ahead, the actress said she hopes to work with actors including Shah Rukh Khan, Pankaj Tripathi and Jaideep Ahlawat, while also expressing a desire to collaborate with her close friends in the industry.

Thanking audiences for embracing her performance, Anjali said the overwhelming appreciation has been deeply moving.

"I'm so happy that many people went to see the film because of me. I've received so many messages from people saying they watched it a second time because they loved my work. Thank you so much for the love. Please keep it coming; an actor's career truly depends on the audience," she said.

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 stars Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Esha Gupta, among others. (ANI)
