Thiruvananthapuram (Keralam) [India], August 11 (ANI): Emerging young actress Rukmini Vasanth has begun the shooting of her upcoming film with Nivin Pauly, which is tentatively titled 'NP51'.

The actress shared her picture from the sets of NP51 showing a clapboard officially announcing the commencement of the shoot. While sharing the photo, the actress wrote, "And so it begins. NP51. There's something very special about finding yourself in a place you've admired from afar for so long. To now be a small part of it feels like a very special first for me. So grateful for this on," wrote Rukmini Vasanth.

The project is backed by acclaimed filmmaker-producer Martin Prakkat, known for films such as Charlie and Nayattu, while Nashid, who was among the writers of Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, is directing the film.

Rukmini is now also gearing up for 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.' Starring Yash in the titular role, the trailer of Toxic presents the film as a grand, action-packed story filled with emotion. It explores themes of love, power, betrayal and redemption.

At the heart of Toxic lies the complex relationship between Raya and his son, Ticket, adding an emotional core to the larger-than-life gangster world.

The trailer also introduces a web of relationships and rivalries, with glimpses into the character arc of Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi. The ensemble makes a strong impression, with each actor bringing distinct shades and intensity to their characters.

Shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, 'Toxic' will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, taking its world of action, thrill and larger-than-life storytelling to audiences across languages.

Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26. (ANI)
