Five Persons Arrested in Connection with Cyber Crime
Five persons were arrested in connection with cyber crime in Giridih district Thursday, police said.
Giridih (Jharkhand), Sep 6 (PTI) Five persons were arrested in connection with cyber crime in Giridih district Thursday, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, the cyber cell officials of the district police conducted raid in Chamliti village and nabbed five persons while they were committing the cyber-related crime, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cyber cell), Sandeep Kumar Samdarshi said.
The arrested persons were identified as Choti Mandal, Bajrangi Kumar Mandal, Ramesh Kumar Mandal, Kanta Mandal and Ajay Kumar Mandal, the DSP said adding that they were all notorious 'cyber thugs'.
Eleven mobile phone, 14 fake sim cards and other objectionable articles were seized from them, he added. PTI
