New Delhi, Apr 11 (PTI) The wholesale gur (jaggery) market ended quiet in the national capital today with prices after moving in a narrow range on bouts of little buying and selling, ended same on last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also followed suit and settled at overnight levels in thin trade.
Marketmen said besides adequate stocks, scattered buying by stockist and retailers largely kept gur prices unmoved.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,600-2,700, pedi Rs 2,500-2,600, dhayya Rs 2,700-2,800 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,000-2,100, chakku Rs 2,200-2,400, khurpa Rs 2,050-2,100 and Ladoo Rs 2,250- 2,350.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,125-2,200 and dhayya Rs 2,200-2,250.
