Virudhunagar (Tamil Nadu) [India], October 17 (ANI): As many as 13 people were killed in two different blasts that ripped through firecracker factories in Tamil Nadu's Virudhunagar on Tuesday, police officials said.
The first explosion reportedly took place in Virudhunagar district and the second explosion took place in yet another unit in Kammapatti village in the same district.

Police, fire and rescue service personnel, and the public put up joint efforts in extinguishing the flames and trying to rescue the victims.
