Kalyan, October 6: Three passengers on the Pune-Mumbai Deccan Queen Express sustained injuries after they tried to deboard the running train at the Kalyan Railway Station on Friday. The 12124 Pune Junction to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (Mumbai) does not have a stop at the Kalyan Railway Station and the passengers were attempting to get off the running train when they fell and injured themselves, railway officials said. Mumbai: 'Record' 2,693 Ticketless Passengers Caught at Andheri Station as Crackdown on Those Travel in Local Trains Without Ticket Continues.

The train was halted immediately and the train crew and station staff rushed the injured passengers to the KDMC Govt Rukmini Bai Hospital near the Kalyan station. According to the preliminary report, of the three passengers, the condition of one was said to be fine. However, the remaining two passengers, aged 40 and 25 years, have sustained severe injuries.
