Narangi Cantt (Assam) [India], July 9 (ANI): Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Narangi conducted a motivational outreach programme on "Career Options in the Indian Army" for NCC cadets of Guwahati and Imphal at Brahmaputra Hall, Narangi Cantonment here.

According to the official statement by the Defence's Public Relations Officer, a total of 182 NCC cadets attended the programme, which aimed to create awareness about the diverse career opportunities available in the Indian Army and inspire young aspirants to serve the Nation.

During the session, representatives from ARO Narangi provided detailed information on various entry schemes, including Agniveer (Women Military Police), National Defence Academy (NDA), Officer Entries, and NCC Special Entry. The cadets were also briefed on eligibility criteria, selection procedures, career progression, and the numerous benefits of a military career.

Special emphasis was laid on the advantages of NCC training and the opportunities available to NCC cadets for joining the Indian Army. The interactive session enabled participants to engage directly with Army recruitment representatives, helping clarify doubts regarding the recruitment process and offering valuable insights into life in uniform, the PRO said.

To further enhance awareness, informative posters and pamphlets were distributed among the cadets. The outreach programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and was well received by the attendees, reflecting the Indian Army's continued commitment to guiding and motivating the youth towards a career of honour, discipline, and selfless service.

The programme was conducted by the Recruiting Medical Officer (RMO) and staff of the Army Recruiting Office, Narangi. (ANI)
